Kyoko Yamada, DPT

Licensed Physical Therapist

Kyoko Yamada is the founder and owner of BeWell Home Physical Therapy. She received her doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.

Kyoko had worked in an outpatient clinic and inpatient rehabilitation center for five years when she came to the realization that for many people, it was very difficult to get to the clinic, either due to lack of transportation or because they were too weak to leave their homes safely. Most of the time, the patients who face these obstacles are the ones who really need physical therapy. To meet their needs, Kyoko created a physical therapy office to offer in-home therapy.

Kyoko is a certified LSVT Big clinician. She has strong passion in treating patients with Parkinson’s disease. She loves her profession and making some changes in people’s lives by providing high-quality care.

Debbie Kayton

Debbie Kayton, PT

Licensed Physical Therapist

Debbie Kayton is an exercise and manual therapy-based PT with 33 years of experience in orthopedic, sports and neurology patients. I am educated, amongst other things, in Maitland, Movement with Mobilization, Trigger points and Kinesio Taping techniques, as well as vestibular rehab, oncology and geriatric exercise. Most recently, I have become LSVT BIG and Big for Life certified. One of her favorite types of patients to work with are PD patients. Figuring out their particular functional and multi-tasking struggles, and then encouraging them to think and move BIG to overcome them.

Debbie uses the adage “Motion is Lotion” often and finds it helpful as a reminder to us all to keep moving.
